A Grand Opening

Having just taken a peek at the calendar, I am rather shocked with myself for not having been in and blogged a piece about the ‘oh so awesome day’ that was the Voluptia Grand Opening! Truth is, my blog scares me, such a strange thing considering how much I love to ramble on about nothing in particular! Anyway, I do apologise for not posting sooner, but here I am beating it into submission while I have a fuzzy flashback to the fun.

Saturday, January 15th started like any other day with me rolling out of my pit and firing up to a small panic that I was nowhere near ready. Suddenly a wave of calm hit me and on finally placing a few pretty prims around the store…all was ready! I built it…and they came!!

Indeed, it was an oh so very awesome day, with the gorgeous vocal talents of Chi Melson at the store and later ChelseaMarie Noel at the Sublime Ballroom, leaving more than one or two of us spellbound. The many, many visitors who stopped by with their kind words and supportive best wishes for this new venture. The absolute crazy and nonsense moments with friends and loved ones all fused beautifully to make the day, truly one to remember for a long time to come.

So after a mega SL session I finally rolled back in my pit at silly o’clock on Sunday morning…wondering, why on earth did I think it would fail, with such great people holding me up, in such a fun place to experience all that you can dream!

All I can say is a massive thank you to each and every person who went over and above to make the day so special. Words just don’t seem quite enough to show you how grateful I am…hmmm…how about I make you all some more scrumptious panties?
